Of the 172 islands that make up the San Juan Archipelago at high tide, Orcas is, without a doubt, the most unique. From the moment we arrived on our initial visit in 1988 we were overwhelmed by the natural beauty and friendly, accepting community. We bought our property here on that first visit! Orcas has the tallest mountain (2,407 ft) in the San Juan's, the largest park (Moran State Park, over 5,000 acres, with more than 30 miles of hiking trails) multiple publicly-accessible lakes, broad scenic valleys, dramatic rocky shoreline and lovely beaches. In addition there are quaint villages and a relaxed life-style that provide a welcome contrast to what we had previously known. We had lived in Africa, in European cities and in "the other Washington" (DC); Orcas became our psychological home even before we moved here permanently in 1993. Now, while we still enjoy travelling, we always look forward to that wonderfully relaxing and scenic ferry ride back home.

My extensive experience in Orcas Real Estate, continuous since 1993, together with my previous background in diplomacy and negotiation, provide me with the skills to effectively assist you in acquiring property on this wonderful island. I look forward to assisting you in finding your own Orcas dream property and will do my utmost to make it an easy and enjoyable process. It is always my goal to serve my clients with the greatest competence and professionalism.
